Competitive Warzone is back, with the World Series of Warzone tournament returning for 2022. There’s $300k up for grabs in both the NA and EU regions, bringing the prize pool up to a mighty $600,000.

This time, however, it’s not just streamers and pro players taking part. During Season 4 Reloaded, Activision hosted open in-game qualifiers where anyone could be in with a shot of earning their portion of the impressive prize pool.

Here’s everything you need to know about the competitive Warzone event taking place during Season 5, including how to watch it, the schedule, format, and teams so far.

World Series of Warzone 2022 schedule & format

There will be a 2022 World Series of Warzone tournament in both the EU and NA regions, with each having a prize pool of $200k. Plus, to round off the event the SoloYolo returns, where one player from each region will take home an extra $100,000 if they can pull off the solo win.

40 teams of Trios drop into Caldera and must rack up as many points as possible across the event, where placement and kills count towards the score.

The NA Qualifiers were meant to take place on August 21 but were postponed due to technical difficulties and will reportedly now take place on Thursday, September 1.
